Explore Peru: Culture, Nature & Custom Travel Experiences

Peru is one of South America’s most diverse destinations, shaped by ancient civilizations, dramatic Andean landscapes, and the rich biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest. We design custom journeys through Peru around your interests and travel style.

    Overview

Peru is a destination defined by powerful contrasts, from high Andean landscapes and living Indigenous traditions to the biodiversity of the Amazon basin and a vibrant Pacific coast. It is best known for the legacy of the Inca Empire, but the experience extends well beyond Machu Picchu.

Because regions vary greatly in altitude, climate, and travel logistics, the strongest trips focus on thoughtful sequencing and sequence. Thoughtful planning helps balance cultural depth, comfort, and time in nature, while keeping travel days efficient.

    Best Time to Visit Peru

Peru can be visited year-round, but the best time to travel depends on the regions you plan to explore. The Andean highlands (including Cusco, the Sacred Valley, and Machu Picchu) are most popular during the dry season from April through October, when days are generally clear and ideal for sightseeing and hiking.

The Amazon rainforest remains lush year-round, with higher water levels during the wetter months from December to March, which can be excellent for wildlife viewing and river travel. Along the Pacific coast, December through April brings warmer temperatures and sunnier days, particularly in Lima and southern coastal regions.

Because Peru spans multiple climates, we design each itinerary around the regions you want to explore and the time of year you plan to travel.
