    Overview

Beginning with two nights in Quito allows you to settle in after international travel and enjoy a privately guided introduction to Ecuador's capital before continuing to the Galápagos.

Your time in the islands is thoughtfully split between Isabela and Santa Cruz, combining volcanic landscapes, white-sand beaches, snorkeling, and close wildlife encounters—while keeping evenings flexible for local dining or quiet downtime.

Important note on inter-island transfers: this itinerary uses speedboats between islands. These rides can be bumpy, but they're also a memorable part of the experience, with open-water views across the archipelago. If you prefer to bypass the speedboats, flights can be arranged on key legs when schedules allow, offering a remarkable aerial perspective of the islands.

    Land-Based or Expedition Cruise?

A land-based island-hopping itinerary is ideal for travelers who value customization, flexibility, and a wider range of pricing options. You will stay in hand-picked hotels, choose excursions day by day, and keep evenings open for local dining or quiet downtime. This approach works well for those who want more control over the rhythm of their trip.

An expedition cruise is often the best fit for travelers who want to reach more remote visitor sites with fewer transfers while enjoying a streamlined, all-in-one experience onboard. We plan both styles and will recommend the option that best aligns with your comfort level, wildlife goals, and budget.

    What This Journey Typically Costs

Because every Galápagos island-hopping journey we design is fully custom, pricing varies based on travel dates, hotel category, island routing, and activity selection.

    As a general guideline

Starting from approximately $3,000 per person, based on double occupancy. Final pricing varies by season, accommodation level, and specific tour selections. Every itinerary is custom-quoted.

These estimates include round-trip flights from mainland Ecuador (Quito or Guayaquil) to the Galápagos, guided excursions, snorkeling equipment, inter-island transportation, breakfasts and lunches throughout the Galápagos portion, and carefully selected accommodations. International airfare is quoted separately.

We'll walk you through the options transparently and recommend what makes the most sense for your trip.
